PATIENT PARTICIPATION GROUP (PPG)

As part of the Government initiative to include patients in the development of local services we are keen to provide our patients with the opportunity to express their views and have formed a Patient Participation Group.

The purpose of the group is to ensure patients are involved in decisions about the range and quality of services provided, and over time, commissioned by your surgery.

If you are interested in joining the group, then please register your interest either by completing a form in Reception or by clicking the “Join our Patient Group” tab below and completing the form on line.

We thank you for you interest.

Repeat Prescriptions

red_orange_pillsPatients can request Repeat Prescriptions:

  • In person
  • By post using the prescription counterfoil
  • By fax 01245 344287
  • By arrangement with your own chemist.
  • Directly through this website

Patients who would like to request repeat medication online can do so by registering at reception for this service. Due to patient confidentiality proof of identity may be asked for.

To ensure that the correct medications are prescribed we do not accept telephone requests for prescriptions.

Please allow 2 working days for prescription requests to be processed.

From time to time you will be asked to see the clinician to monitor and review your treatment.

If you would like your prescription posted back to you, please enclose a stamped addressed envelope.

Several local chemists operate a system whereby you can leave a repeat request with them, and collect your medication without the need to visit the surgery. Please contact the chemist directly for further details. Local chemists who currently offer this service are:

  • Melbourne Pharmacy, Melbourne Avenue 01245-355645
  • Alliance Pharmacy, Sunrise Avenue 01245-281350
